25th Anniversary AVN Awards 2008 and Adult Entertainment Expo

Photos from the 2008 Adult Entertainment Expo and the 2008 AVN Awards are now live! We interviewed many of the porn stars who were signing during the expo, and many of them were winners this year! The interview videos will be live in a couple of days. In the meanwhile, there are three galleries including the Expo, the Red Carpet of the award show, and the 25th annual AVN Award show.

Lady Venus photographed the Adult Entertainment Expo and I was able to photograph the Awards this year. I felt a bit like a sleazy paparazzo on the red carpet, because there were way too many photographers crammed into a very small space, each shoving their way in for a shot. It took over two hours for all of the pornstars to make their way into the venue, and there are lots of pictures of your favorite pornstars dressed for the gala event. The best (or possibly the most expensive) gown of the night belonged to Jenna Haze, who told us during her interview that she spent $9,000 on it! We were happy to see that she made her way up to the stage a few times so that she definitely got her money's worth on that gorgeous lavender, crystal-studded gown.

A few things that we noticed this year are:

- Belladonna seems to look better each time we see her.

- Many of the starlets love to have their fans jerk off onto their boxcovers and send them photos of the, um, messy end result.

- Ava Devine and Puma Swede are always in a good mood. (Take note, you newbies!!!)

- We still don't understand why nipples are verboten at this event. THEY ARE JUST NIPPLES, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! Covering them with pasties makes it all better? Whatever.

Once again, we will be covering the Adult Video News awards in Las Vegas. For the past three years, Lady Venus & I photographed and videotaped the AVN show in Vegas. This year it looks like we'll have a spot reserved on the red carpet, where we'll be able to get the best shots of all of the adult film stars who are nominated for awards!
The 2007 AVN Adult Entertainment Expo (AEE) is the largest event for the adult industry worldwide. The show takes place over four days, where the most comprehensive collection of exhibitors covering virtually every market segment in the adult entertainment industry will be under one roof. Hundreds of porn stars (or adult entertainers if you prefer) will be signing autographs for fans and posing for pictures. The show is scheduled for January 10th - 13th and is being held at the Sands Expo.
